A random take on Odias

A nepali student committed suicide in KIIT. Some video are available on internet where some female authorities/ staff are telling protesting girls that "Hamare founder 40 hazar logo ko padhate hai utna tmhare desh ka aukaat/budget nhi hai". Then the nepali girls/ boys were transferred to railway station, bus stand to go back. The same officials who were threatening did so.

This is wrong on so many levels. Culprit was in police custody but still how can someone behave so with protesting students.

This is not the mentality of 1-2 people. Almost every Odia I have come across is so. They dont introspect themselves. They remain under so much pride that they always consider themselves above everyone else.

The 1st step to progress is to identify where you need to improve but if someone says I am perfect then there's no scope.

Odias are so. I can bet that in some time you will see a narrative or some of my relatives talking that "ye sab bihariyo ke wajah se hua, wahi badmash hote hai".

I believe Odias and Biharis are similar at all levels. If you remove some people from Bihar (only some and not much) then an average Bihari will be much better than an average Odia and you know why? Because Biharis are not delusional they exactly know at which level Bihar and Biharis are. They constantly condemn the wrongdoings and seek to improve but Odias never. And yet an average Odia will continue to look down upon Biharis. Blaming them for everything.

And then every typical Odia you see will be hooked to OTV. OTV owned by Baijant Panda (BJP but was earlier with BJD) runs its own propaganda. Infact, it has been running the propaganda ever since its inception and every other Odia is hooked to it. While you have Kalinga TV (owned by Achyuta Samanta BJD) who again runs his own propaganda. Now with this incident at KIIT. OTV is running its own personal vendetta against Samanta while Kalinga TV is silent.

OTV propagandas are more powerful because its older, its been in mainsteam since 2006. Goto channel for everyone. The reason BJD lost the 2024 assembly election is primarily because of OTV propaganda. Summing up - "An average Odia always consumes biased propaganda which he considers news and thinks of himself to be superior because he watches local news daily."
